2. What the website is

Weddingvenuesspain.com is an online marketplace where couples discover and contact wedding venues, pre and post-wedding venues and wedding planners in Spain (the "providers"), and book group activities organised by us.

Depending on each provider's settings, you can send an enquiry, book and pay online, or both. When you enquire or book with a provider, the contract for their services is between you and that provider. Wedding Venues Spain is not a party to that contract: we act as an intermediary platform that makes contact, booking and payment possible. The only exception is activities, where Wedding Venues Spain is the organiser and your contracting party (see "Activities organised by Wedding Venues Spain").

3. Accuracy of information

We work hard to keep venue, planner and pricing information accurate. Prices, capacities, availability and included services shown on the website are indicative and may change without notice. Always confirm the specific terms with the venue or planner before you book anything. We are not liable for inaccuracies in third-party content published on the website.

4. Online bookings and payments

Before you pay, the booking card shows the package or service, the total price, the amount due today (deposit or full amount), the remaining balance and the provider's refund policy.

• Payments are processed through the Foreventos booking platform (app.foreventos.com) by our payment provider Stripe. Accepted methods: card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We never see or store your full card details.
• For venues and planners, the amount you pay today is collected on behalf of the provider. The remaining balance is paid to the provider on the terms they indicate.
• Your date is held for up to 30 minutes while you pay. The booking is confirmed when the payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email.
• Prices are set by each provider. Wedding Venues Spain may receive a commission from providers; this never increases the price you pay.
• If a date turns out to be unavailable after payment, the provider must refund the full amount.

5. Activities organised by Wedding Venues Spain

For activities listed under "Pre and post-wedding activities", WVS Partners SL is the organiser and seller. They are delivered by selected local suppliers under our coordination, and we are responsible for their proper performance as required by law.

• Each activity shows its minimum and maximum group size, minimum notice, what is included and its refund policy.
• If an activity cannot take place for reasons beyond our control (for example weather or safety), we will offer you another date or a full refund.
• Participants must follow the safety instructions of the supplier on the day.

6. Cancellations, refunds and right of withdrawal

The refund policy shown when you book applies: a non-refundable deposit, or a deposit refundable up to a given number of days before the date. To cancel, reply to your confirmation email or write to info@weddingvenuesspain.com.

• Venue hire, catering and leisure activities are provided on a specific date. Under Article 103(l) of the Spanish consumer law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007) and Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to them.
• Wedding planning services: you can withdraw within 14 days of booking without giving a reason. If you ask the planner to start work within that period, you pay for the part of the service already provided.
• If a provider or Wedding Venues Spain cancels, you receive a full refund of the amounts paid.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days.

7. Verified reviews

Only couples with a confirmed booking, or a service they hired through the platform, can leave a review. They do so through a personal, single-use link we send after the date.

• We check every review before publishing it. We publish positive and negative reviews. We only remove reviews that are unlawful, offensive, contain personal data, are unrelated to the event or come from a conflict of interest.
• We do not pay for reviews. Providers cannot edit or remove them, but they can reply publicly once.
• By sending a review you allow us to publish it with your first name, initial and country.

8. Your use of the website

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any purpose that is unlawful, misleading or fraudulent.
• Submit false, misleading or automated enquiries.
• Scrape, copy or republish material from the website without written permission.
• Attempt to access, tamper with or use non-public areas of the website.
• Interfere with the normal operation of the website (denial-of-service attempts, malware, etc).

9. Intellectual property

All content on weddingvenuesspain.com (text, photos, videos, logos, code, structure) is owned by Wedding Venues Spain, its partners or licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view, share individual pages and print reasonable copies for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires written permission.

Photos of venues are usually supplied by the venue or the photographer and remain their property. If you believe content on this website infringes your rights, email us at info@weddingvenuesspain.com and we will investigate promptly.

10. Enquiries and communication

When you submit an enquiry, you agree we may contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp using the details you provide, in relation to that enquiry and the services shown on our website. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying to any message or emailing info@weddingvenuesspain.com.

11. Third-party links

The website may link to third-party websites (venue websites, planner Instagram accounts, mapping providers, etc). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.

12. Disclaimers

The website is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or suitability of any content for any particular purpose.

Wedding planning involves choices that depend on your circumstances. Any information on the website is general in nature and should not be treated as legal, financial, tax or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wedding Venues Spain is not liable for any loss or damage arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the website.
• Any contract, dispute or transaction between you and a venue, planner or partner introduced through the website.
• Any inaccuracy in third-party content published on the website.
• Any indirect, special or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or lost opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under Spanish law.

14. Privacy

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the website after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute relating to the website or these Terms will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to any consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
